What would you like to know?

We do not believe in holding clients hostage, you will fully own your domain and the site you paid for. You’re in control.

We will assist you in creating a unique SiteGround account that will host your website. We will then set ourselves up as a collaborator/administrator. If you already registered your domain, we will assist you in the initial setup. If you have not, we will assist you in registering the domain on your new SiteGround account.

You own everything, you’re just giving us access to maintain it for you. SiteGround’s billing will be performed with your own information and considered your responsibility.

We utilize lifetime licenses with client distribution rights as standard. This means no subscriptions to maintain, and never losing any “pro features” on your website.

If the scope of your project requires an additional purchase/license, the cost of acquisition will be appended to your invoice with an additional fee for our time. We will always ensure you’re aware of any ongoing commitments and require approval before purchase.

This depends on the size and scope of your project, as well as potential interim delays in providing materials, registrar or site hosting updates and transfers, revisions, etc.

We try to get our part done quickly, so you can enjoy your site as soon as possible. The average for our projects regardless of their size is, from contract signing to going live, 45 days.

For small sites where materials are provided promptly and no transfers are necessary, under a week is not unreasonable. In contrast, a large site with comprehensive eCommerce, and an extended domain/sitehost transfer period, may exceed two months.

We do utilize AI in some aspects of our work, but our beliefs on AI usage is atypical.
We strongly believe AI should NOT be involved in our design process.

We all know AI is absolutely everywhere, and it makes a wonderful tool – when used responsively and with focus. But for creative-centric fields and arts, they cannot replace a human. People know when something is designed or written by AI… Simply put, they feel soulless, a quite accurate term for AI as a whole! When you choose RobotiDev, you’re getting a human designed website that shows personality and passion.

Our usage of AI is exclusively as a tool to help with the mundane or procedural aspects of our work; to save us time, and save you money. When an interaction is behaving strangely, we may use AI to determine the cause. When there are dozens of nested elements and we need to a list of all present global classes, we may use AI to do so quickly. When we have an idea of what kind of picture would look great on a page and want to show you its potential, and help you find the perfect one to slot in, we may generate a placeholder image to do so. These scenarios are where we believe AI has a place.

  1. At signing: 50% of the client-approved quote.
  2. At project completion: Remaining dues, committed maintenance plan amount OR first maintenance plan payment (if applicable).
  3. Recurring: Maintenance plan dues, any change time beyond what’s included in a plan.
  4. Ad hoc (immediately): Change time without a maintenance plan, licenses/registrations not included as standard.

We offer free consultations to discuss your needs and the size of the project, we then use that information to estimate how much development time will be needed to complete the site. Our quote will be based on the number of hours we estimate * our hourly rate. We also use this information to establish timeline expectations.

Our quotes will be itemized to help you decide what’s right for you. For more complex features and additions where the development time is uncertain we may list an hourly rate or set a price range to help with expectations. Due to the potential for timeline disruptions, we may assess a 20% fee for additions listed in the quote that are approved post-signing. We will always require approval before performing any actions that increase your total – we do not surprise people with unexpected costs here!

We’ll be in touch as we need information for aspects of the site, such as pricing, FAQs (like this one!) or your about section.

As for materials, the more we have, the more we can work with to tailor your site to you. Sometimes we have a great idea and may ask you for something specific. We usually ask for:

  1. Social media account name / links.
  2. Pictures (team, products, facilities, etc.)
  3. Videos (Advertisements, product reviews, actively working, etc.)
  4. Brochures / Flyers / Handouts

Along with your website you will receive access to our ticketing system where you can submit a change request. We use this system to ensure adequate time/cost tracking for all involved.

Due to the the nature of changes, we charge by the hour. See our pricing page for details. The amount of time spent on a change will be included in each ticket. For those with a maintenance plan, the cost will be added to your next bill. For those without, you will be sent an invoice due immediately after completion.

Our investment into each project is our time; an unrecoverable asset. As such, we do not offer refunds.

Maintenance plans are commitments, we do not offer refunds.
